Abstract: | Full wavelength carrier phase observations on Ll and L2 frequencies are available nowadays from high precision dual frequency GPS receivers. In the presence of Anti- Spoofing, the L2 carrier phase measurement is more noisy and more likely to have cycle slips. This paper presents a fast and reliable on-the-fly ambiguity resolution method based on dual frequency GPS measurements. This method is not affected by L2 carrier phase cycle slips and uses full observation information provided by the two frequencies. The information content of various. combinations of carrier phase observations is examined. Kinematic test results using dual frequency receivers have shown that carrier phase integer ambiguities can be very reliably resolved quickly over short distances with the method presented. |
