Statistical Model to Minimize the GPS System Errors: a Tool to Support DGPS/GBAS

Luiz Carlos Laureano da Rosa, Diego Rolando Méndez Castillo, and Fernando Walter

Abstract: Statistical analysis methodology based on ARIMA (p, d, q) model is applied to model the differences between pseudoranges and geometric (true) ranges. This differences model is used to predict and test data in posterior days. Latency of model data was tested and showed that, several days after, the model shows a good agreement with actual data. The results encourage testing this methodology as a support tool for DGPS and GBAS.
