A 7.5mA Single Package GPS Radio for Handheld Applications

Abstract:	A 15x15mm, 20mW single package GPS radio for handheld applications has been realized. Called NM1100, it is a self-contained, easy to use device suitable for fast design-in in emerging handheld applications. The NM1100 is based on the NJ1004/5 GPS down-converter. It supports either active or passive antennae, a variety of frequency plans and the four power-down modes available on the NJ1004/5 devices.
