Abstract: | One presents a new algorithm for integer ambiguity resolution on single difference of GPS carrier phase. The algorithm is useful to initialize the spacecraft on-board attitude determination process based on GPS. One follows the least squares approach and the dynamic method. The idea is based on the derivation of an attitude independent observation equation for the integer ambiguity. The algorithm is tested with simulated data of an Earth stabilized LEO satellite during a day in different flight scenarios. Numerical results indicate the robustness of the algorithm to different random noise and multipath levels. The expected time to find a valid solution in cold start mode is close to 20 min. |
