Abstract: This paper provides an overview of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)’s Resilient GNSS Antenna Program, which is intended to encourage the use of adaptive GNSS antennas for civilian transportation and critical infrastructure applications by: identifying most relevant adaptive antenna algorithms, evaluating their performance trade-offs against challenging threats for civilian applications, and sharing the study findings with the civilian GNSS community. To support the above objectives, a hardware platform has been developed including a flexible antenna array and digitizer. The paper describes the Resilient GNSS Antenna Program, the hardware platform, testing activities that are being conducted using both the custom and commercial antenna arrays and antenna electronics. The paper also provides sample results and concludes with next steps and future direction.
