| Abstract: | Since satellite orbit and clock accuracy in navigation message affects the positioning accuracy of users, orbit and clock determination for navigation message generation is important for analysis of system performance. In this study, we seek to verify an orbit and clock determination algorithm for analysis of potential performance of Korean regional navigation satellite system using the simulated and actual observations of similar system, QZSS. We compare orbit and clock determination results from extend Kalman filter using simulated and actual QZSS observations to verify the validity of the filter in the algorithm. For the analysis, smoothed ionosphere-free pseudorange measurements from 3 IGSO and 1 GEO QZSS satellites and 14 IGS stations are used. For results from both simulated an actual measurements, we found that 0.5 m and 0.3 m level accuracy for satellite orbit and clock respectively. From the similar tendency in results from both simulated and actual case, we could verify the validity of orbit and clock determination algorithm. |
