Abstract: | Galileo's services have been studied now for several years, and they are still evolving, but as we enter the final stages of the definition phase, the plans are becoming sufficiently mature for a robust report. The paper's authors are directly responsible for the task of Service Definition and the overall technical coordination of the EC GALILEI study cluster. Building on the foundation of many studies, including GalileoSat, GALA, GEMINUS and the recent ESA Mission Consolidation study, this paper reports on the very latest definition of the Galileo Services as currently being finalised within a task that forms part of the European Commission's GALILEI system definition study cluster. However, final endorsement of the services will take place by the EC in the Galileo High Level document. |
