GPS/GSM based Fleet Management System for Sparse GSM Networks

Abstract:	This paper describes the architecture and features of a GPS/GSM based Fleet Management System developed by Accord Software and Systems to cater for territories even with sparse coverage of GSM networks. As an introductory note the importance of Vehicle Fleet Management in India is discussed with relevant Statistics. The paper concludes with the results of field operations carried out in India.
