Abstract: The introduction of Galileo HAS Service Level 1 creates a new opportunity for PPP users to have access to high-accuracy corrections at no cost on an open channel through the Galileo signal (E6-B) and by Internet Data Distribution (IDD) means. The HAS Initial Service provides satellite orbit and clock corrections to the broadcast ephemerides and satellite code biases worldwide. During the HAS testing and experimentation phase, it was necessary to develop the infrastructure at European Space Agency (ESA) for real-time quality monitoring of the corrections and the user performance. The performance setup was gradually scaled to allow monitoring of the quality of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) products from various correction providers and the corresponding PPP user performance with different algorithms and implementations.
