CRPA and Array Receivers for Civil GNSS Applications

Abstract: Abstract—This paper presents a view of the potential uses of CRPA and GNSS array receiver in the civil domain, from now into the near future, especially for critical or Safety of Life applications. The paper presents some of the foreseen challenges and provides some key points, to better understand the impact of the antenna array miniaturization on the performance of adaptive filtering algorithms. Also, the paper presents the achievable performance level obtained by combining some interference mitigation algorithms. In addition, the paper shows the application of direction of arrival algorithms to detect spoofing.
