Abstract: | Optical links have been more commonly utilized for accurate time and stable frequency transfer in the last decade. It is even dominating technology in densely inhabited areas like Europe. These activities develop on a national basis (e.g. REFIMEVE+ in France or OPTIME in Poland), and also on the pan-European scale (the academic network GEANT). This article describes CITAF, the national optical infrastructure in the Czech Republic and our recent experience with the operation of time and frequency transfer. |
