Abstract: The integrity risk requirements proposed by the ICAO for GNSS aviation applications in different operation stages are difficult to directly apply to a snapshot ARAIM user algorithm directly. To reduce the conservativeness introduced by the process of integrity risk mapping, the paper proposes a method to allocate the integrity risk requirement over an operation exposure time. A strict definition of ARAIM integrity risk over an operation exposure time is introduced. The functional relationship between the integrity risk over the exposure period and the protection levels of each epoch is derived based on a first-order Gauss–Markov process. A real-time protection level calculation method for ARAIM is proposed. The results of the performance simulation show that the proposed method can meet 99.9% RNP 0.1 global availability 100% coverage.
