GNSS Pseudorange Fault Detection and Exclusion with Multiple Outliers

Abstract: Using multiple constellations, the number of pseudoranges available at each epoch is large. Additionally, for land-based applications faced with difficult reception conditions, the number of simultaneous faults corrupting these measurements can be large as well. Tailored to this type of scenario, a method is proposed that allows to reliably detect and exclude faulty measurements at a reasonable computational cost. Numerical simulations are used to compare the proposed method with other approaches found in literature, and illustrate its superior robustness, accuracy and availability.
