Abstract: A GNSS receiver system using signals in the band around E5 (same as B2) is shown to be similar in data flow to a hypothetical dual-band common signal structure receiver. We illustrate the signal flow, sensitivity, and sideband usage from primary and secondary code acquisition, tracking, measurement generation, and reacquisition based on unified high-precision signals. We compare synchronous sideband combination to independent sideband tracking (A, B, C tracking), including their observables for Machine Learning, false alarm mitigation, sensitivity, and time-transfer gain through each stage.
