Abstract: | This document analyzes a navigation system combining carrier-phase dierential GPS aided INS and magnetometer sensing. This system is being evaluated for automotive applications. The article presents the equations describing this integrated navigation system and analyzes the expected performance of such a system. The analysis indicates that the magnetometer/DGPS/INS system is capable of estimating position with a standard deviation of 0.028 meter and heading with a standard deviation of 0.175 deg. |
