Abstract: | This paper gives an overall view of the architectural concepts that have been developed and consolidated as an output of the system definition studies GALA and GalileoSat and the following GALILEO phase B2 study for the European satellite navigation system GALILEO. The various architectural elements envisaged fulfilling the system’s tasks as well as their relations and data flows are presented. In addition a concise overall view on attributes and performance of the services offered by GALILEO is given. |
