Atmospheric Delay Estimates from a Ground-Based Real-Time GPS Network

Borys Stoew, Per Jarlemark, Jan Johansson and Gunnar Elgered

Abstract: The Swedish geodetic network of GPS re- ceivers, SWEPOSTM, generates data in true real time. We describe the network of receivers and the activities planned in order to obtain a system where GPS data are assimilated in weather forecast models. We present the possibility of real-time GPS data processing with a latency of 1{2 s.
