Abstract: | Wideband BOC signals will widely be used in new generation Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Compared with traditional navigation signals, they have significant advantages in ranging performance and anti-jamming capability. However, its multi-peak autocorrelation function also poses new challenges for the GNSS receivers in terms of the designs of tracking loop and multipath mitigation techniques. A general wideband BOC signal tracking processing technology, namely Dual BPSK tracking technique, is employed to solve the problem of multi-peak autocorrelation function mentioned above. However, the multipath mitigation algorithm for DBT architecture is not specially considered yet. In this paper, we propose an offset correlator based multipath mitigation method for DBT technique of wideband BOC signals, which can effectively suppress multipath signals with low complexity. A software receiver demonstrate the usability and effectiveness of the new method. This method can also achieve the compromise between multipath and noise performance by adjusting the local pseudo-noise code phase for different application scenarios. |
