Abstract: The number of Beidou mobile communication terminals is dramatically increasing recently, most of which only support standalone Beidou. It's urgent to evaluate the standalone Beidou performance, but currently there is neither specification nor common methods for standalone Beidou mobile communication terminals although A-BDS minimum radio frequency performance requirements and test procedures are specified in 3GPP specification 37.571. In this paper, a standalone Beidou minimum radio frequency test method is proposed for mobile communication terminals. A test system is developed in China Telecommunication Technology Lab (CTTL) and a number of mobile communication terminals supporting standalone Beidou are tested.
