Abstract: This paper addresses the problem of providing integrity in a collaborative navigation system. We present a fault mode that is unique to collaborative navigation, as well as a way of detecting and mitigating it. We design an integrity monitoring algorithm that complements the positioning algorithm proposed before. We show how the new method can detect position faults in airborne ranging sources with a sensitivity that is well within the requirements of non-precision approach operations.
