TIME DOMAIN MEASUREMENT OF FREQUENCY STABILITY

Jacques Vanier, Michel TĂȘtu

Abstract: The paper outlines the theoretical basis behind the definition of frequency stability in the time domain. Various types of variances are examined. Their differences and interrelation are pointed out. Systems that are generally used in the measurement of these variances are described.
