Abstract: | PPP-RTK (Precise Point Positioning in Real Time Kinematic networks) is a good way to enable cm-class positioning accuracy for both static and moving objects [1]. If we describe this method mathematically, it can be neatly expressed using linearity algebra equations, but it seems very difficult for non-professional people, including engineers of different fields. We therefore introduced the principle of PPP-RTK using simplified diagram and equations so that even non-professional people can grab the principle intuitively in some papers [2][3]. . We also introduced L6 adaptor concept and our challenge, in such papers, of L6 adaptor development which receives SSR (State Space Representation) augmentation data broadcasted from ground network. In the L6 adaptor processing, the SSR augmentation data is transformed to artificial observables with OSR (Observation Space Representation) expression at a non-physical reference point, and it roles as a replacement of reference station in RTK. This augmentation data will become available at L6 band from QZSS (Quasi-Zenith Satellite System) in Japan as open service from November,2018. This augmentation data named as CLAS (Centimeter Level Augmentation Service) [4] will be broadcasted to users from QZSS directly, and not only professional users but also mass users in and Japan are expected to enjoy a very highly accurate point positioning. . This paper discusses how to utilize CLAS in the mass market such as smartphones and wearable devices and to increase drastically the number of users who utilize the QZSS unique services. In this discussion, the development result of L6 adapter which receives CLAS from the satellites and its application scenario in the smartphones market are also described. . References [1] K.
