Abstract: Various trends can be observed regarding GNSS signal development, either on the exploitation of available spectrum in S or C band due to the saturation of the GNSS L-band, or in the optimization or extension of existing signals in upper L-band, such as a potential E1D component for Galileo. The present study aimed at addressing both points as potential solutions for future Galileo evolutions.
