Abstract: The Open Testing Platform (OTP) is a navigation technical verification platform for BDS and other GNSS, which is also a novel navigation system independent of GNSS. In OPT, the satellite transponder without atomic clock onboard is used as navigation satellite, navigation signals generated on ground is retransmitted to users by the satellite transponder. For the C band radio frequency used in OPT, it can achieved much better than ns level timing precision with carrier phase. For the navigation signal is retransferred by satellite transponder, the continuity of carrier phase and the coherence between code and carrier phase is broken, as makes the carrier phase difficult to be used in the system. In paper, the system architecture, the method to implement carrier phase timing and carrier phase timing results are showed.
