Abstract: | The paper presents a summary of the Galileo system configuration during the Initial Services phase and performance validation activities carried out in 2017, evaluating the compliance of the measured performance with the Minimum Performance Levels (MPLs) targets set in the Galileo Open Service Definition Document [1]. The system performance monitoring tools managed by ESA along with the metrics for performance evaluation are presented in detail. The results of in-field tests are also presented in order to validate the Galileo end-user performance. |
