Abstract: | Galileo is Europe's contribution to the future generation of satellite navigation systems. Under the auspices of the European Union, Galileo will benefit from the very latest technological advances. It will enable it to broadcast high performance positioning and timing signals under international civil control, to meet the increasingly stringent demands of users. The scope of these applications has no limits. They can just as well be governmental or professional, critical in terms of security, or aimed at sports or leisure activities. |
