Abstract: In this research, we present the SLAM implementation based on WiFi and pedestrian dead reckoning (PDR) using smartphone in the indoor environment. To find a WiFi similarity, new method, surface correlation, is applied. We identify that the surface correlation method finds accurate WiFi similarity even in a weak WiFi environment.
