Abstract: In this paper, we present regional ionospheric delay models for GNSS by the spherical cap harmonic (SCH) analysis. The ionospheric delays are estimated by GNSS observation data from GNSS earth observation network (GEONET) of the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) in this research. In our previous research, we have developed the original SCH models for Japanese regional ionospheric delays. The model parameters, which are coefficients of SCH models, have been estimated by the least squares method. In this paper, we proposed the estimation methods applying the Kalman filter so that the coefficients can be sequentially obtained. The proposed models are compared with global ionosphere map (GIM) of International GNSS Service (IGS) by positioning accuracy and then its ability to correct ionospheric delays is evaluated.
