Time and Frequency Activities at IEN

Abstract:	The Time and Frequency Department of the Istituto Elettrotecnico Nazionale ([EN), as national laboratory for time and frequency metrology in Italy, is charged of the realization and dissemination of the national time and frequency standards and the development of new frequency standards and synchronization techniques. The present status of these activities and their future developments are reported in the paper.
