Abstract: This paper describes the methodology being used by an ad hoc working group of the Interagency GPS Executive Board (IGEB) Third Civil Signal Implementation Steering Group to address the feasibility of coexistence between the third civil GPS signal and existing systems at or near 1176.45 MHz. The paper also describes preliminary results of applying this methodology to known emitters in the U.S. and other regions of the world.
