Abstract: This article aims at investigating the impact on an airborne receiver of BOC-induced tracking biases that can affect the Galileo E1 OS measurements. It is assumed here that the considered receiver implements a dedicated bias detector. Therefore, such errors are by nature short in time. However, their occurrence rate can have an impact on the general integrity monitoring algorithm definition and settings. As a consequence, it is important to understand how this impact can be mitigated, and how this could impact the airborne receiver requirements. The proposed investigation is only a first look into this problem in order to understand the different elements at stakes.
