Abstract: Emerging mass-market and automotive applications are requiring GNSS receivers with enhanced accuracy. In order to meet this requirement, either some approach developed for professional (geodetic) GNSS receivers has to be adapted or new approaches have to be devised, taking into account the low-cost constraints. In this contribution, precise positioning algorithms are implemented on a single frequency (L1 only) consumer/automotive grade product, the STA8090 Teseo III. Preliminary performances both in the static and kinematic cases will be illustrated. Dual-frequency will be also considered and possible receiver architectures and algorithms for parallel GPS L1 C/A and L2C signal reception are presented.
