The Study of Jammer Localization using Multiple UAVs

Abstract: GPS is vulnerable to deliberate jamming signals and unintentional interference signals. For counteracting this weakness in GPS, array antenna based anti-jamming methods and jammer localization systems are studied. Jammer localization methods among counteracting method of GPS weak signal are studied to detection jammer location and jammer type for eliminating jammer or jammer signal effect. The jammer location estimation performance of jammer localization systems is determined according to jammer signal power, jammer type, array antenna type, jammer localization algorithm, location of jammer and receiver and etc. furthermore, velocity, trajectory and position of UAV have and effects on performance of UAV based Jammer location systems. In this paper, software based simulation platform was designed to take account of these various effects of jammer localization systems. And estimation performance analysis of jammer localization systems was carried out as UAV trajectory by using simulation platform.
