Abstract: | This paper looks at the process of validating a GPS simulator by using a prescribed test plan. Specifically the Spirent/GSS 4760 signal generator. The test plan is based on ICD-GPS-200. The data that is reproduced is a combination of raw receiver data collected in 1997 and additional control files that were designed by the SSCWG (Satellite Simulator Control Working Group) leadership. Implementing these truth files to match up specifically with the simulator output is what is discussed. |
