Designing Models for Signals and Errors of Sensors in the Airborne Gravimetry Using Nonlinear Filtering Methods

O.A. Stepanov, D.A. Koshaev, A.V. Motorin

Abstract: The paper considers the filtering problem solved in determining gravity anomalies using airborne gravimeter data. A feature of this problem is that the valid signal is estimated in conditions of uncertain knowledge of its model and the error model of the sensors. The sensitivity of the linear filtering problem solution to the error model parameters is studied. A nonlinear filtering method, which takes into account the fact that the model parameters are not precisely known, is suggested. The results obtained within the proposed approach are given and discussed.
