Abstract: | With the purpose of improving the quality of GNSS services, a novel method of vulnerability assessment is presented. After introducing the structure of a typical vulnerability assessment system, its working mechanism is discussed in detail. Then the paper analyses the selected assessment parameters including Carrier-to-Noise Ratio (C/N0), Geometric Dilution of Precision (GDOP) and Relative Pseudorange Error (RPE) which are all related to service performance. Through establishing the application suitability of these parameters, the indices of requirement and tolerance are substituted into the mathematical expressions based on specific applications to get the normalized mapping results. At last the three application suitability indices would be converted into vulnerability degree (VD). The final VD equals the maximum of them, and vulnerability warnings of different levels will be sent to users in different industries according to the value of VD. |
