Coast Guard Radionavigation Plans

Abstract: Radionavigation Plans and Policy in the Coast Guard are based on the Federal Radionavigation Plan. This presentation will address Coast Guard Radionavigation history briefly and explain the impact of federal radionavigation planning on the future operation of Coast Guard radionavigation systems. It will address the impact of Global Positioning System (GPS) on Coast Guard systems as well as Coast Guard efforts in the development of Differential GPS.
