Attitmle Detennination with GPS

R. Lucas, R. Okkes, W. Kriedte

Abstract: A method for Real-time Attitude Determination (RAD) of a platform based on interferometric measurements over the GPS signals is presented. The method is based on solving the coordinates of o baseline vector formed by two GPS receiving antennas by processing of triple difference GPS carrier phase observables. Application of this approach leads to potential accuracies well below -mrads- for short baselines (2 meters) even in dynamic environments.
