Abstract: | The effects of data time synchronization errors in GNSS signal simulator and receiver closed-loop test are analyzed quantitatively. Thereafter, the single-SV timing method is extended to high dynamic applications in strong signal conditions. The main error sources in the timing method are also investigated and the approaches to mitigate the timing errors are proposed. Finally, extensive tests at digital IF (Intermediate Frequency) signal level validate the correctness of the error analysis and the applicability of the proposed single-SV timing method to various user dynamics. The test results show that, by using a priori knowledge aiding in strong signal conditions, the single-SV timing approach can achieve an accuracy of 3.2E-13s, a closed-loop pseudorange precision of 0.0005m (1?) even in a sinusoidal dynamics with a 1995g LOS (line of sight) acceleration. |
