Abstract: | This paper investigates the benefits of integrating future GNSS navigation systems with different grade of inertial measurement units (IMUs) and a radar altimeter to improve continuity of service for LPV200 approaches. An integrity scheme adapted from the ARAIM algorithm was developed and implemented for the hybrid navigation system. The performance of the system is evaluated under different failure scenarios and with respect to different grades of IMUs. Furthermore, an efficient geometry screening was developed in order to minimize the computational load of the model. |
