Techniques for Developing a Miniature Resonant Optic Rotation Sensor

Yanshen Zhang, Bin Zhang, Xinyu Ma

Abstract: Techniques for integrated electronics and optics are used for developing the integrated optic gyro (IOG). Problems concerning calculation of its resolution and design are being investigated. A system configuration for detecting the signal of resonance and frequency control is proposed. The techniques for structure design and fabrication of the passive ring resonator (PRR) are discussed.
