Abstract: | BeiDou (also named compass) is designed as worldwide global navigation satellites system, which is developed by China since about 2000, and in the future will have robust navigation capability. China has made its efforts on research independently to develop civil application, among which marine navigation and timing is the promising field. Now sixteen satellites have been launched into orbits and can provide basic PNT service for Asian users especially for China inland ships. The river information and navigation service with BeiDou is studied from system progress, key algorithm and typical application in this paper. First, brief introduction will give you the framework of research, and next river information and navigation service system is presented. The regional distributed augmented algorithm is detailed to better understand the architecture consequently, then typical application in frontier river of china is studied as an example of BeiDou marine application. |
