Availability and Continuity Performance Modeling

Mitch Sams, A.J. Van Dierendonck and Quyen Hua

Abstract: This paper describes the mathematical equations used in the analyses of availability of navigation, taking into account both the accuracy requirement and the continuity requirement. Equivalent but computational efficient equations are also presented. This paper addresses the concepts of instantaneous availability and different formulations of local availability.
