Abstract: | The Russian Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) provides interesting opportunities for international time metrology. The GLONASS constellation is now in the final stages of construction and can already be used for international time transfer. At least 19 national time laboratories are now equipped with the most recent GPS/GLONASS time receivers. The BIPM collects data from these receivers and is now publishing related time links. GLONASS links arenow compared on a regular basis to GPS links and will also soon be compared to TWSTFTlinks. This paper reports the latest results from the BIPM. |
