Abstract: | GPS measurements can be degraded by several types of errors. These errors degrade the accuracy of GPS position. DGPS provides users with corrections to remove the correlated bias terms between receivers. But because the problem of slow updates of the DGPS, any interruption of the DGPS service will cause a loss of navigation guidance. The service discontinuity can be overcome by applying predictions of the DGPS corrections. In this paper, combination forecasting algorithm was analyzed particularly and used to predict the DGPS pseudo-range and carrier phase correction information. Then most common methods such as autoregressive moving average (ARMA) model, autoregressive (AR) model, Box-Jenkins model, grey theory model, neural network model, and etc., were implemented encompassing test. And then according to the results of encompassing test, the optimal combination forecasting model based on induced ordered weighted harmonic averaging (IOWHA) operator was employed to realize time-varying implementation, According to the level of accuracy, this model assigns the weight to each individual method to achieve the correlation between weight coefficient and fitting accuracy in any time point. Then the effectiveness evaluation of this model was analyzed explicitly, theoretical analysis showed that the combination model fit the law of DGPS corrections well and it helped to improve the forecasting accuracy with high practical value. At last, the forecasting results analysis are given, and the relationship between the forecasting errors and position errors are analyzed. Online training for real-time prediction of the carrier phase enhances the continuity of service of the differential correction signals and, therefore, improves the positioning accuracy. When the correction signal from the DGPS was lost, the combination forecasting predicted the correction data with good accuracy for the navigation system during a limited period. |
