Abstract: In this paper the project SiPoS-Rail is introduced. The focus of SiPoS-Rail is to provide reliable and safe position information of a train for safety relevant applications, like train control systems. Therefore electronic milestones are used to augment GNSS-signals. The paper focuses on the navigation filter for SiPoS and shows results of the first test drive.
