Due to recent military base realignments, the Department is currently known as NRaD Warminster, for short, or NCCOSC (Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center) Research and Development at the Warminster Detachment. The Department played a key role in the development and improvement of navigation capabilities on Navy aircraft for over 30 years.
