Wideband Transform-Domain GPS Instrumentation Receiver for Signal Quality and Anomalous Event Monitoring

Abstract: A transform-domain, instrumentation-quality GPS receiver is presented for high-fidelity signal quality monitoring, satellite anomalous event monitoring, and basic GPS research. Receiver design details are provided that enable unique applications such as real time transform-domain processing, 55 points per C/A code chip Signal Quality Monitoring (SQM) capability, 10-correlator P(Y) code SQM, 50-Hz trajectory reconstruction at the millimeter-per-update level, 10-Hz L2 trajectory reconstruction at the centimeter-per-update level (semi-codeless), and GPS/INS deep-integration code and carrier tracking for interference robustness and indoor navigation.
