Abstract: This paper presents compensation algorithms for the computerized pendulous gyrocompass. It shows the compensation methods of the long period dynamic deviation, as well as the equilibrium position of the pendulousgyrocompass deviation.The paper demonstrates approaches to removing certain usual modeling assumptions for gyrocompass motion, thereby increasing the range of ship’s speed and latitude for which the error compensation is effective.
