A "NEW LOOK" FOR THE NAUTICAL ALMANAC

Ramon O. Williams

Peer Reviewed

Abstract: Although the “New Look” expression used as the title of this report has been worn almost to the bone, it still seems to be the best phrase to describe the contemplated changes in the design of the Nautical Almanac. Almanac, the Arabic word for calendar, has been the descriptive title of a collection of astronomical data available and necessary for the use of navigators.
